Planning & Budget
We kick things off with a sit-down conversation to learn exactly what you want in your new home.

Everything gets noted and mapped out so we can start shaping your vision with purpose.
Architecture & Engineering
We bring in trusted architects and engineers to begin sketching your home—layer by layer.
This stage includes:
- Early floor plans and layout concepts
- Roof pitch recommendations
- Wall placement and elevation drafts
- Window layout and siding choices
- Structural approvals
This is where your ideas begin to take shape on paper.
Kitchen, Bath & Interior Design
Our team works with local suppliers to design interior spaces that meet your tastes, needs and budget.
You’ll receive:
- Detailed cabinet and appliance drawings
- Bathroom layouts
Material suggestions (flooring, fixtures, finishes) - Custom options and recommendations
Final Quote & Timeline
Once your design is finalized, we’ll provide a detailed project estimate, a build schedule and outline exactly what to expect from start to finish. You’ll know what’s included, who’s doing the work and when it will be done.
Your Project Partner
Shaw & Sons manages your build and stays hands-on through the project’s completion.
Our in-house crew handles most of the work directly, and when we do bring in subcontractors for licensed trades, they’re licensed and insured professionals we trust. That means you’ll see familiar faces on site, not a revolving door of strangers.
